Simonds offers off-the-shelf tools for internal snap rings that meet these critical data points:
3/32” snap ring eye hole minimum diameter
Have a maximum opening of 1.4” or less (W in the drawing)
Have an overall thickness of less than 1/8” (T in the drawing)

Simonds pneumatic snap ring tools make quick work of frustrating c-rings, circlips and retaining rings. Jaw options give you 45° or 90° angle options to make the job even easier. Available with hand controls as seen here or with optional foot operational control and bench mounts.
