Maneuverable in design, Simonds handheld pneumatic tools are made in the USA by craftsman. Our design is powered by a cnc’d aluminum cylinder capable of delivering the closing force at the jaws needed to do the job. Simonds produces jaw sets in-house, allowing the ability to quickly and easily create custom jaws without the added expense and time normally associated with custom industrial tools.

Custom Tools Available!
Simonds can build a tool to meet your specification, like this tool. Simonds engineers are able to keep the smaller diameter of the tubing perfectly round while flattening the excess tubing. This video shows a 1.33", double wall copper tubing being used. The side "ears" are 0.245" when flattened with a "pilot" hole of 0.325". Simonds Inc. makes this tool to accept other diameters of copper tubing. Simonds tools provide an ergonomic solutions to production line hand tools in manufacturing

Simond’s Ball Crimp Tools are perfect for Aluminum and Copper tubing. These jaws feature a ball and socket, allowing a perfect ball crimp every time. The tool also features the option to lock the jaws on the tubing giving the user time to make a silver solder.
These tools feature Simond’s “Reverse Valve” feature that prevents dangerous misfires as the jaws are closed at rest. When activated by the user, the jaws open; when released the jaws close backdown prevent powerful tool mishaps.
As with most of Simond’s tools, the tool is standard with a hand-lever activation while foot activation is available. See optional gear for more information on accessories.
Designed for refrigeration manufacturers, this tool, our PTX-809 takes our ball crimp concept one step further - adding jaws that keep the copper tubing from sliding during the operation. The result is a perfect crimp, every time.
Plastic Tubing
Simond’s pneumatic plastic hose cutters feature a clever jaw set up: a cutting blade on one side and a “U” shaped channel on the other making consistent cuts safe and easy. Simond’s jaws cut up to 1”diameter tubing and prevent tube distortion during cutting.
